Connecting servers

Bring Plex, Jellyfin, and Emby into one place.

Sign in with your provider

Plex uses browser sign-in. Jellyfin and Emby support server-address connections. For Emby Connect, choose Emby, then Use Emby Connect. Alkemyo shows a code and explains the next step before your browser opens. Choose Copy code, approve in the browser, then return to Alkemyo to continue setup. If copying doesn't work, choose Use code manually. Your server and account permissions determine which libraries and actions are available.

Choose your libraries

Select the libraries you want in Alkemyo. Saved connections can be renamed or re-linked from Libraries. If sign-in expires, re-link the existing connection to retain its selected libraries and identity.

People and servers are kept separate. To switch who's watching, select the profile button in the top-right header to open Who’s watching?, then choose a person. Choosing a person only switches profiles. To add or change people, choose Manage profiles. Select a person and choose Edit person, then use Link server users to assign that person's own Plex Home, Jellyfin, or Emby user. Linking never renames the server or uses someone else's sign-in. You can set an optional profile PIN and choose a built-in avatar, or Use server photo when one is available. A PIN only protects local profile switching; it does not replace provider sign-in.
