A home for your personal media

Alkemyo is a media player for personal Plex, Jellyfin, and Emby libraries. The current private prototypes run on macOS and Windows. Public store releases are still being prepared.

Start with a server

First-time setup guides you through connecting a server and choosing libraries. On Connect your servers, Plex, Jellyfin, and Emby are always offered. Choose Add another server to connect more, including several servers from the same provider. If you cancel an attempt, nothing partial is saved and you can try again. The desktop prototype also supports local folders.

To begin again from scratch, open Settings > Universal > Troubleshooting and choose Start fresh…. Read the confirmation before you confirm. Alkemyo shows its progress, closes by itself, and reopens to first-time setup. Exported reports and logs are kept. Only try this with app data you don't mind losing.
